For those who will travel directly to Jeju, not connecting at Inchon or Seoul, there is a very flexible entry/departure policy, which allows visitors to stay without a visa for up to 30 days, except for those who are traveling from the following countries: Afghanistan, Cuba, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Macedonia, Palestine, Sudan, and Syria. For those who will travel from China and connects at Inchon or Seoul must obtain a valid visa for a legitimate entry to Korea. If you are arriving directly to Jeju, no visa is required.
Any foreign visitors wishing to enter the Republic of Korea must have a valid passport and obtain a Korean visa before coming. But people of 99 countries who want to visit Korea temporarily are permitted to enter without a visa according to visa-exemption agreements (Table 1), or in accordance with principles reciprocity or national interest (Table 2).
