Welcome message from conference Chair

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the IEEE Asian Solid-state Circuits Conference, it is a great pleasure for me to welcome you to A-SSCC 2015. The conference is held in Xiamen,China from November 9 to 11, 2015.

A-SSCC is one of the most significant and premier academic conferences presenting the state-of-the-art researches in the field of solid-state circuits and systems-on-a-chip in Asia. It has also become the most important forum for scholars, experts and engineers who work in the field of solid-state circuit in Asia and even worldwide to exchange their ideas and experience on integrated circuit design. The A-SSCC program this year is outstanding, and we especially highlight the conference theme:"Securing the Society with Silicon Systems".The reliability of silicon systems is of significant importance as our society depends more and more on silicon systems. The advanced semiconductor technology shall help build a root-of-trust in the big data era from various aspects.

The Conference is not only for getting first hand access to the latest research innovations, but a place for creating connectivity for friends and colleagues to get together, and to meet with new people. This year, A-SSCC will be held in mainland China for the third time. Xiamen is a major seaport since ancient times, and it is also one of the forerunners of the special economic zones of China. Located on the southeast coast of China, Xiamen is known for its scenery and tree-lined beaches. With sunny days in November, you will enjoy the stay in Xiamen.

As Conference Chair of A-SSCC 2015, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the members of Organizing Committee, Steering Committee, and Technical Program Committee for their professional contributions. Also special thanks go to Invited Speakers and Panelists.

Finally, we would like to express our best wishes for the success of A-SSCC 2015. We are looking forward to seeing you in Xiamen, China.
