Speakers' Rehearsal Schedule

Speakers' rehearsal is scheduled from 2pm-4:50pm and 5pm-7:50pm on November 11, 2012 at the building of Graduate school of Engineering/Faculty of Engineering, Kobe University's Rokkodai Campus. All session chairs and speakers for technical sessions of 1-16 and industry sessions of 1-2 are requested to attend the speaker's rehearsal.

A-SSCC provides free shuttle bus service from Kansai International Airport to the A-SSCC speakers' rehearsal venue (one way) AND roundtrip between Kobe International Conference Hall and A-SSCC speakers' rehearsal venue.

From Osaka International Airport (Itami)
By Bus
Take the Airport Limousine Bus to "Sannomiya" (time required: 40 min./fare: 1,020 yen). From "Sannomiya," go to JR (Japan Railways) and take the Kobe Line to "Rokkomichi" station (2nd stop, time required: 5 min./fare: 160 yen), or take a local train on Hankyu Railways (Kobe Line) and get off at ";Rokko" station (3rd stop, time required: 5 min./fare: 180 yen).

By Railway
Take the Osaka Monorail to "Hotarugaike" station. From "Hotarugaike," take the Hankyu Railways Takarazuka Line bound for "Umeda". Get off at "Juso" and change to a train bound for "Sannomiya" or "Shinkaichi" on the Kobe Line, then get off at "Rokko" station (time required: 1hour/fare 510 yen).

From Kobe Airport
Take the Kobe New Transit Port Liner Line from "Kobe Airport" station and get off at "Sannomiya" station (8th stop, time required: 17 min/fare: 320 yen). From "Sannomiya", take the JR (Japan Railways) Kobe Line and get off at "Rokkomichi" station (2nd stop, time required: 5 min./fare: 160 yen), or take a local train on Hankyu Railways (Kobe Line) bound for "Umeda" and get off at "Rokko" station (3rd stop, time required: 5 min./fare: 180 yen).

From Shin-Kobe Station
By Bus
Take the Kobe Municipal Subway to "Sannomiya" (next stop, time required: 2 min./ fare: 200 yen). From "Sannomiya", take the JR (Japan Railways) Kobe Line and get off at "Rokkomichi" station (2nd stop, time required: 5 min./fare: 160 yen), or take a local train on Hankyu Railways (Kobe Line) bound for "Umeda" and get off at "Rokko" station (3rd stop, time required: 5 min./fare: 180 yen).
By Taxi
(time required: 15 min./fare: approx. 2,000 yen)

From Shin-Osaka Station
Take the JR (Japan Railways) Kobe Line and get off at "Rokkomichi" Station (6th stop, time required: 30 min. by express train/ fare: 450 yen).

From Hankyu "Rokko", JR "Rokkomichi" , and Hanshin "Mikage" station
There are Kobe Municipal Buses are available from Hankyu "Rokko" station, JR "Rokkomichi" station, and Hanshin "Mikage" station, (fare: 200 yen)
Route 16 (bound for Rokko Cable-shita)
Take Route 16 and get off at "Shindai Kokusai Bunka Gakubu Mae"
Route 36 (bound for Tsurukabuto Danchi Mae)
Take Route 36 and get off at Shindai Honbu Kogakubu Mae"

Presentation Information
The time allocated for presentation is as follows:
Regular presentation:
  25 minutes (20 minutes for the presentation and 5minutes for Q&A.)
Short presentation:
  12 minutes (10minutes for the presentation and 2minutes for Q&A.)
Speakers are advised to save their PowerPoint presentation with the package for USB feature and bring a backup PDF-version of their presentation. Speakers should arrive in their session rooms 15 minutes BEFORE the start of their sessions to report to the chair person.
